True: Yesterday's blog was a cop-out. I dug that joke, so I decided to share it, but that is no excuse for no blog.
Now that my 'apologies' are out of the way, I shall attempt to catch up: Yesterday, on the commute to work, I saw a Chinese man, who owns a produce shop in Chinatown, wearing a Notre Dame jacket. Not only did this strike me as strange, but the jacket also read, "Fighting Irish," under the logo. Giggles...am I on an Irish kick, or who?
So last night, I rushed home after work. Not because I had plans to go out or needed to take a desperately needed nap, but I was soooo anxious to collect all of my clothing from my closet and take it to Buffalo Exchange. One can receive cash for the especially fashionable attire that is handed over for resale. In my black hole of a bank account, this is a seriously valuable resource. Especially since the source of most of my original woes in finances are accredited to my apparel collecting craze. I even sold a leather biker jacket that has been so useful hanging in my closet for the last 10+ years. After my visit to the Buffalo, I went grocery shopping, and now have food to eat until my next paycheck, in two days. Guess what I saw on my shopping trip? Green bagels.
