I don't normally remember my dreams, however once in a while I'll have series of strange ones. I'm in the midst of such a series. Last night I dreamt that I felt my first earthquake, which hasn't occurred yet since my arrival in California nearly a year and a half ago. Hmmmm.
Bad mood? Nope. Just especially aware of people's strange behavior of late:
1. Why do people insist on getting up from there stable seat on the bus to walk up to the door in such anticipation of leaving the vehicle? I mean, people will start their approach to leave the bus a whole block early, red light included, and shove past the standing passengers for what?
2. It dawned on me just how grammatically impartial people are when it comes to their profession or background. For example, I would never capitalize the term, ‘insurance plan,’ but someone who works with insurance companies will. It’s just very silly, to me.
3. You know who you are: You need to add an apostrophe and an S to the name of any establishment. Nordstrom’s, Neiman’s, In-and-out’s, etc. I wonder if the habit is psychological or just learned.
