Mood-o-meter: Friday Fever
I got up at 7:25am and walked to work. At least I got some exercise in already. I’m tired, though. I haven’t had any coffee due to my tummy ache, so now I’m doing tea. I hope the caffeine is enough to get me going.
Yesterday I had some blood work done and I still have to get a stool sample done. Yuck! There’s little worse than having to poop into a bowl and scoop it up into tubes with a tiny little shovel. Ick! But I really need to figure out what’s going on with my stomach. I’ve been having upper abdominal pains with fevers and it’s very scary. This is no longer a matter of IBS.
San Francisco is so small. It’s literally small…7 miles by 7 miles. So it’s no surprise when something happens, like one of my friends unknowingly meets, hooks up with, or dates an ex of mine. This has happened too many times. If I were to count right now, I’d have to say that it’s happened a total of 4 times since I left. I even made friends with someone who lives here who knows a guy I dated in Philadelphia. It’s really crazy and just goes to show how small this whole world is in terms of people. It really is a small world after all!
