Mood-o-meter reading: Tired, Cramps
I didn't make it to the Brides of March. It was forecast to rain, and I wasn't able to find a wedding gown in time. I spent the weekend with Marilyn, and helped her run errands and stuff in order to avoid putting any more weight on the sprained ankle than she needed to. It's doing much better.
I met Elaine this weekend. She is a great girl from Little Rock, Arkansas who just moved to San Francisco on Wednesday. Marilyn and Elaine share mutual friends in Little Rock, Christina and Scott, who suggested she move to San Francisco to flourish her career as a chef. I don’t know how she could have made a better decision, and she has a great connection for a wonderful new beginning. Marilyn and I took Elaine out Saturday night and then she and I went to North Beach (San Francisco’s Little Italy) and ate and drank in the sun. Good times.
No more progress has been made in the search for a new living situation, but I have over a month to decide.
Can I go home to bed now?
