I think I just witnessed a slight breakdown. One of my coworkers, and friends, is having one of those shitty days where none of our office machines are working as they should (a usual occurrence for us, actually), and she just flipped out in front of me in the color printer room. She violently kicked the printer and slammed the paper in her hand into the recycling receptacle. I almost felt like she was partially taking it out on me, since I was standing right there. Of course, I know better. It was just a slightly jarring experience seeing a friend in a new, not so attractive light.
Wow, there is so much going on this weekend. How to choose...how to choose?
I sure wish they'd put the buttons in the elevator further apart from one another. My office is on the top floor of the building (14th), so it's such a bummer to accidentally hit an extra one. Always blame it on the buttons!
You know how some instances in television shows, movies or books stick out in your memory more than others? Well there's this one episode of Will & Grace where she asks him how his day went. He answers that it went fairly well, beginning with having an actual seat on the subway. Well I'm having one of those mornings. I didn't get a seat, BUT the bus pulled up JUST as I was getting to the bus stop. It was perfect bus rider timing.
