It's been a rough morning. I got into the bathroom and used the toilet. Just as I was washing my hands, I heard Jessi outside waiting to get in. I assumed she needed to go to the bathroom, because she wakes up in the morning and is practically peeing her pants. She was trying to get into the shower at the same time. So my morning started off pretty sucky, since I interrupted her and my schedule.
I go to the bus stop at 8:15am. There is only one bus in the 5-block view down the hill and up the next one. It's packed with sardine-people. I smoke a cigarette and it gets me high. Now I'm late, cranky, tired, and high. I decide to walk downhill two blocks to the cable car, which can either make me much later or earlier. Usually, as in this case, it makes me later. I’m dying from dehydration, so I go to the All Star Donuts, grab a bottled water and ask for an iced coffee. “We don’t have iced coffee,” the lady behind the counter says to me. I asked her if she could just pour a coffee and put ice in it. She says no. I’m frustrated even more now, since I have definitely purchased an iced coffee here before. I wanted to tell her that I knew she was lying and she should get off of her lazy ass and get some ice because she has no other customers.
I go out and wait for the cable car. I look at my watch and I have 3 minutes to get to work and the cable car has not moved from the end of the line, which is about 3 blocks away. At least I have water to quench my thirst.
