I'm goofing again. It's been weeks and weeks since my last blog. Slap-slap on my wrists! Well, let's go over the details of the last few weeks, shall we?

1. I went to Orange County for a sun-filled, southern cali weekend, in which I enjoyed Downtown Disney, Magic Mountain, and the beach. The funny thing is that the initial reason I planned the flight down there was to attend a party that my friend Chris and his fiance Abby were having. As I was en route, Chris informs me that only two people were attending, so they called off the party and we discovered the many restaurants and shops of Downtown Disney. I'd like to just vent the fact that I went to so much trouble to actually make a trip down there SPECIFICALLY FOR the party. The least these other people could have done is stop by! Anyways, I got more of a tan and had a fantastic time.

2. My parents came to visit. We had a ball, despite the fact that the unsafe curbsides of San Francisco's Mission district decided to break my Father's foot on his first full day of vacation. He had to spend one third of the rest of the week trying to swing himself around on crutches, the second third on a wheelchair he rented for $45, and the last third of the week sprawled out in the passenger seat of the rental car during our long drives to Monterey and Tahoe. Dad was held captive with Mom and me in the driver seat. Pictures soon to follow...

Now I'm still trying to readjust to my normal life of not-so-leisure, after taking a whole week of vacation for the parental visitation. I'm not 100%, but much better than last week. I think I got homesick, being with my parents for all of that time. I miss them a lot.

I'm now wondering when I can expect a visit from my sisters...?  ¶ 3:03 PM
