Day 2 of every-day post-wedding life. I'm feeling kind of bummed out. I'm not sure if it's because the wedding related stuff is all over, or if it's because I just haven't been out of the house in sunshine yet today. This afternoon I'm planning to go to the post office to pick up our mail that's accumulated during our two-week Caribbean extravaganza. That's all that is going on with me today. I should go on a walk with Abby and I should also go to the gym.

Political emails: I am cutting myself off. I sent one out about a month ago. It was a letter written by someone who knows Palin well. I feel very strongly about McCain's ridiculous choice in a running mate, and in a moment of weakness forwarded this email to almost everyone I knew. I got a response recently from a childhood friend with a link to a YouTube video about the mortgage crisis. I criticized it and replied to my friend. Unfortunately she didn't like what I had to say, so she asked me to refrain from sending her any political emails in the future and she'd do the same. Then I got an email from another friend, and at the end she added, "P.S. If you plan on voting Republican, please disregard this message." I guess I'm not the only one whose friendships with McCain/Palin fans are being strained.

I really need to log onto Facebook, but I think I'll wait until I get drunk or something. ;-) Just kidding...kind of.  ¶ 1:21 PM
